The greatest writer on the subject of the Gospel, the Apostle Paul, spoke of it like this: ‘The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes’ (Romans 1v16).The word ‘power’ is often translated ‘miracle’ or ‘mighty work’ — who of us has the power to perform miracles? Salvation is a miracle God performs entirely by His will, His energy, His wisdom.
The good news of the Bible is that ordinary people like you are invited to become one of the "heirs of the world" (Romans 4v13), and enjoy all the beauty of the kingdom of God, which is an amazing offer, however this is not what truly makes it good news. Yes, it wouldn't be good news without it, but that is not what makes the good news ultimately good. The ultimate good news is a person, a beautiful, loving, glorious, everlasting person who is also your Saviour. And beyond being with that person and enjoying them forever, is nothing more to be desired. This is the ultimate good news.
The word Gospel is from a Greek word which means “good news” or “glad tidings”.
The Kingdom of God is the fundamental message of the Bible gospel. Because the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ spoke of the “Kingdom of heaven” many Christians believe that the Kingdom of God is somewhere in the heavens. However, the term “Kingdom of heaven” is a reference to the origin of the concept in contrast to the kingdoms of people on the earth. The Bible clearly states that the Kingdom of God is to be established on the earth, and eventually after an initial 1000 years of rulership by Jesus Christ, “all the earth shall be filled with the glory of Yahweh”. (Numbers 14:21)
The Doctrine of the trinity has flourished for centuries. It came to be accepted as a doctrine of the church at the council of Nice in AD325 and now is generally accepted as a truth of Christendom without question. The Apostle Paul wrote, “To us there is but one God, the Father … and one Lord Jesus Christ” (I Cor.8:6). “One God” means that only one person is God. It is an obvious truth that all three exist, but the Bible is clear that all three are not equal, as Jesus himself said, “my father is greater than I”.
