We Believe

The Bible is the word of God

The Word of God will give you light

On this page we have links to pages that explore a number of topics which explain what we believe the Bible teaches. You will notice that in most of the articles there are references to numerous Bible quotes. We recommend that you print out a copy and look at the various quotations in your own Bible.
The Bible is the message from God for us today, written by His prophets under inspiration of His spirit. Jesus said “the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63. When the word of God is understood and believed, it has the power to change our lives and transform us into “children of God”.
We like to encourage a regular daily reading of the Bible. We believe this is the way to access the information required to develop and maintain a true and fulfilling relationship with God, ultimately leading to His everlasting knigdom.

Understanding basic Bible teaching
With this in mind we believe it is vital to have, as a foundation for our faith, a correct understanding of the basics of what the Bible teaches.
So we put the question, does the Christianity of the churches truly represent Bible teaching? The sad truth is, that among Christianity today, the Bible is not given the high priority and attention it deserves. Most of Christianity believe all people have an immortal soul; the Bible however never mentions an immortal soul anywhere, in fact it says the soul dies (Ezekiel 18:4, 20). Christianity teaches that the righteous go to heaven. The Bible clearly teaches that the reward of the righteous is upon the earth (Matthew 5:5; Psalm 37:9,11,22,29; Psalm 72; Isaiah 11). The true gospel concerns the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth at the return of Jesus Christ who will come to reign as the king over a transformed earth.

You can trust Bible prophecy
Belief in the Bible is not just “blind faith”. The evidence for the truth of the Bible is provable by the reliability of it’s prophecy. The Old Testament book of Daniel (Written around 600BC) details the rise and fall of four great world empires: Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome. His amazing prophecies accurately foretold of great political events in the Middle East and Europe that would unfold over a period of 2,500 years.
All the major events of Jewish history are detailed in the Bible; in some cases, thousands of years before the events came to pass. The Roman invasion of Israel in 70AD scattered Jewry throughout the whole world. Since then, numerous Bible students who understood Bible prophecy, confidently wrote of the coming rebirth of the nation in the land of Israel. Now, just as Bible prophecy had predicted, this has become a fact of history.

The return of Jesus Christ will happen
The Bible makes it clear that this is a sign to all the world that Jesus Christ will return to prevent the earth from being destroyed by humanity. There are more than one hundred references in both the old and new testaments of the Bible that foretell of the return of Jesus Christ to the earth. He will come to judge the world, and with the assistance of His true followers, He will subdue and destroy all the existing political and religious powers. The world will experience incredible earthquake activity that will set the scene for the construction of a massive temple in the land of Israel which will become the religious and political centre of the Kingdom of God on the earth.

Invitation to the Kingdom of God
God promises a place in His kingdom to people who He invites through belief in the Bible gospel. These happy people will become His children, immortal and perfect like Him, forever.

What is the Gospel?

What is the Gospel of Jesus Christ? The Power Of God To Save!

The greatest writer on the subject of the Gospel, the Apostle Paul, spoke of it like this: ‘The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes’ (Romans 1v16).The word ‘power’ is often translated ‘miracle’ or ‘mighty work’ — who of us has the power to perform miracles? Salvation is a miracle God performs entirely by His will, His energy, His wisdom.

The good news of the Bible

The Ultimate Good news for the world and for you.

The good news of the Bible is that ordinary people like you are invited to become one of the "heirs of the world" (Romans 4v13), and enjoy all the beauty of the kingdom of God, which is an amazing offer, however this is not what truly makes it good news. Yes, it wouldn't be good news without it, but that is not what makes the good news ultimately good. The ultimate good news is a person, a beautiful, loving, glorious, everlasting person who is also your Saviour. And beyond being with that person and enjoying them forever, is nothing more to be desired. This is the ultimate good news.

The Kingdom of God

The Gospel of the Kingdom of God

The word Gospel is from a Greek word which means “good news” or “glad tidings”.
The Kingdom of God is the fundamental message of the Bible gospel. Because the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ spoke of the “Kingdom of heaven” many Christians believe that the Kingdom of God is somewhere in the heavens. However, the term “Kingdom of heaven” is a reference to the origin of the concept in contrast to the kingdoms of people on the earth. The Bible clearly states that the Kingdom of God is to be established on the earth, and eventually after an initial 1000 years of rulership by Jesus Christ, “all the earth shall be filled with the glory of Yahweh”. (Numbers 14:21)

Learn about God

To us there is only one God, the Father.

The Doctrine of the trinity has flourished for centuries. It came to be accepted as a doctrine of the church at the council of Nice in AD325 and now is generally accepted as a truth of Christendom without question. The Apostle Paul wrote, “To us there is but one God, the Father … and one Lord Jesus Christ” (I Cor.8:6). “One God” means that only one person is God. It is an obvious truth that all three exist, but the Bible is clear that all three are not equal, as Jesus himself said, “my father is greater than I”.
